Free Business Development Course | Courtney Associates

On the 18th and 19th of October, Mr Tom Courtney himself will be hosting a free business development workshop at the NEC Conference in Birmingham. The NEC is a National Disability Conference hosted by THIIS. Tom will be hosting 3 workshops a say over both days on the weekend of the 18th of October.

The Workshops are open to anyone who would like to gain new skills or simply see Tom in action. The first workshop is working in building relationships not only in work, but with everyone you meet. have you ever wondered why you click with some people and struggle to get on with others? This workshop will teach you to work out 'what makes people tick'. You will learn how to work well with and appreciate different personalities. Not only that, but how to use them to your advantage to make your work life more effective. You will learn both how to adapt to different people by changing your behaviour and how to influence different people, to create a more effective working environment.

The second workshop is a classic that can work for everyone in both your home and work life - Time management. Have you ever found yourself worrying about how to meet deadlines at work? Or wondering how you can fit your work life around your home life? For most of us, there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day. This course will teach you all the secrets and give you all the tools on how you will manage your time effectively. You will also learn about the symptoms and consequences of poor time management. Along side this, you will get simple tips and techniques on the most effective way to manage your time, removing anything that eats up your time but isn't particularly necessary.

The final course works best for anyone who is in a position of management within the workplace. A course all about appraisals and getting the most out of your staff can benefit you and your company as it's a great way to learn how to keep your team motivated. This system not only benefits all your team members by knowing how and when to give positive feedback, but benefits you in the sense that anyone working above you will be truly impressed with how well your team is working. Giving regular feedback to your team is important as giving both positive feedback and constructive criticism and pointers on a regular basis makes your employees not only feel valued, but motivated to work harder and reach goals that they have been set.

Want to see Tom Courtney in action? Gain new skills from the man who has over 30 years experience in business solutions. Get down to the NEC this October!
