Children with hair loss - Handmade Wigs and Hairpieces

Sydney's Story - Children's Wigs

Each month we give you a story from a parent whose child has lost their hair due to chemotherapy or alopecia and how Christopher Baguley helps them to transform their confidence and self-esteem with his bespoke hair loss solutions which includes handmade wigs and hairpieces.

Christopher Baguley is a registered member of Little Princess Trust who commission him to create wigs or hairpieces for their children with hair loss at his hair loss salon in Cheshire. The Little Princess Trust pay for the solution so it's completely free for the parents and Chris uses only the highest quality human hair and Swiss lace to tie the wigs. In some cases human hair is donated by donors or even the child's parent.

Although each child's story has a happy ending and we see them smiling once again, the journey each child goes through and their parents is utterly heartbreaking. This month we have a story from Sydney who is a 5 year old little girl that has lost her hair due to alopecia.

Chris told us that Sydney sadly suffered from bullying because the other children thought she looked different without her hair. If you're like me, I can imagine you're filling up as you read this, no child should have to suffer from any condition or illness let alone be bullied for it.

Sydney's brave and loving mother donated her own hair so Chris could create a beautiful handmade wig for Sydney. Chris says the wig will be finished later this month as he putting all his care, focus and attention into creating something extra special for little Sydney.

Chris also tells us how happy he is to see Sydney smiling again and he cannot wait to show us the handmade wig he has made for her. We hope she loves it!

If you, a family member or friend suffers from hair loss whether it's due to age, illness, a condition or chemotherapy treatment, Chris can offer his bespoke hair loss solutions to you.
