Stay Safe over the Festive Period | Pass Point

An article from the NHS stated that over 80,000 Brits per year are injured through  things such as cuts, falls and burns during the festive period. It's important that when accidents happen, you are aware of both what to do and have the supplies to deal with any situation.

During the Christmas period, it is likely that your home will be filled by your loved ones, friends, family members and children. With all the excitement and stress (and perhaps a touch of alcohol) it is more likely at this time more than ever for an accident to happen.

A member of the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RSPoA) stated that their message is to make your home as safe as is necessary over the festive period. "With a little more care and planning, most accidents can be avoided." Pass Point couldn't agree more. Sheila Merrill, the home safety manager for RSPoA says "We want to help people prevent their festivities being cut short by a trip to A&E," and we're here to help!

No one wants to put a dampener on the festivities by covering your home with bubble wrap, but it's important to have at least one family member who is aware with how to deal with accidents which are much more likely to occur during this time. Pass point offer courses such as Emergency First Aid, Paediatric First Aid and basic health and safety, so you are able to protect your whole family, not just over Christmas, but at any time of the year.

Pass Point also offer a huge range of First Aid supplies, from hot and cold treatments to bandages and dressings, even the full kit! If you are unfortunate enough to get a cut or a burn while you're making your Christmas dinner, you're in good hands, with the best quality first aid supplies and perhaps even a fully trained family member!

Whether you want to get your First Aid Kit or to Check Out The Calendar, visit the website today! Stay safe, trust Pass Point.
