Late to the ESOS Assessment? It's not too late to apply...

Although the ESOS Assessment was back on the 5th of December, the Environment agency have confirmed that they will not take action against late notifications providing that they're received by Jan 29th 2016...

This is due to the relatively low numbers of organisations that registered their compliance by the original deadline. If your business matches the qualifying criteria then you need to make sure that your ESOS Assessment is undertaken ASAP - it is as follows:
  • A business that employed over 250 people, or:
  • Employs less that 250 people but has an annual turnover of 50 million euro (£38,937,777)
If your company is falls under these categories then you must contact a relevant company to appoint a lead assessor as soon as possible. The aim of an ESOS Assessment is to improve the energy efficiency of the building in which you carry out your business, through the offering of helpful alternatives that have a benefit on both the environment and your costs.
