Wild Bikes also offer a cycling club that is ladies only, Wild Bettys. The club meet and ride one a week and cater for all cycling abilities. Whether you are a complete beginner or advanced Wild Bettys welcome you.
Two rides take place on a Monday night, an intermediate level ride on Wednesday or Thursday and in Summer a road bike ride takes place on the first Wednesday of each month.
If you want to learn how to take care of your bike we run a mechanical evening also, however you do not need to know how to repair a puncture or inner tube replacement as the leaders of the rides are always on hand to assist.
All you need to join is a bike in good working order, helmet, spare inner tubes, puncture repair kit and lights for your bike. Wild bettys offer three complimentary rides before you join to ensure that it is for you before parting with any cash.
