Inman Aligner with Re-Enhance Dental

Re-Enhance Dental Hale, know that everyone wants perfect teeth and sometimes that requires you having your teeth straightened. For a simple and hassle free way of straightening your front teeth, the Inman Aligner is a great alternative to standard braces. The popularity of this fixture has meant that the Inman Aligner has even gained media popularity over the past few years due to the effective results that are achieved after only a short period of time.

How long does the process take?
It is recommended that for the quickest and best results you wear them for twenty hours a day initially, with treatment typically taking only 6-16 weeks to complete.

Are there any problems with the Inman Aligner?
It is normal to experience a slight feeling of discomfort as you become accustomed to Inman Aligners but you’ll gradually grow perfectly used to the fixture. They recommend that for the first few days you take painkillers to handle the initial orthodontic forces that are easily tolerated.

Will it affect my speech?
The Inman Aligner will effect your speech for a matter of days after the Inman Aligner has been fixed however this will last only a matter of days. It will not be a drastic difference and you will soon grow accustomed to the feeling of the wearing them – regaining your full ability to speak normally.

Do I need to visit Re-Enhance Dental frequently for adjustments?
Unlike braces, Inman Aligners will reduce the need for visits to the dentist and are specifically designed as such. Because the treatment is designed to your individual requirements there will however be an occasional need for adjustments at our clinic.

Will my teeth move back after treatment?
Teeth are constantly shifting, as a result it’s important that you make sure to maintain retention to restrict this from getting worse. Re-Enhance will provide you with a bespoke retainer that not only causes minimal discomfort but also has the benefit of being practically invisible so you don’t have to feel self conscious.

If you are interested in trying Inman Aligner instead of traditional braces then visit Re-Enhance Dental Hale's website for more information or contact them today.

Teeth Hygiene Scale and Polish - Re-Enhance Dental

Nothing beats that fresh, clean feeling in your mouth after brushing your teeth. The smooth feeling as you run your tongue over your teeth and the fresh, minty taste. However, despite how much you effort you put into keeping your mouth clean and healthy, a hygiene scale and polish is sure to give you an even cleaner and healthier mouth. Re-Enhance Dental Clinic believe this is an important part of your oral health and provide the service.

Daily activities such as, smoking, drinking and eating can cause high build ups of plaque and tartar which, left for long periods of time can become unsightly. A hygiene scale and polish will help to remove these build ups, helping you to maintain healthy teeth and gums.

How is this process done?
After looking at your teeth and gums, several stages happen.
  • Show you were plaque and tartar collects.
  • Advise as to the best techniques and equipment to prevent further build up.
  • Demonstrate in your own mouth what you can do to improve things.
  • Provide a tailored oral hygiene plan to keep your gums in the best possible condition.
  • Gently remove plaque and tartar from your teeth.
  • Polish your teeth to a high shine finish.
  • Apply a high fluoride paste to your dental work to keep it in the best possible condition.
  • Give advice on Diet and its relation to decay in the mouth.
  • Keep records of your current oral health to measure improvements and track deterioration.
  • Arrange a suitable follow up appointment to help you maintain your oral hygiene.

Ultrasonic Scaling
Tickling vibrations caused by an ultrasonic instrument work to knock these pieces of tartar free from the tooth, with the debris being washed away by a cooling mist that simultaneously maintains a healthy temperature. It is an incredibly safe device which is rounded and constantly kept in motion but be sure to inform the dentist in the unlikely event that you feel the sensation is becoming uncomfortably strong. The hygiene scale and polish device is not sharp, nor is it intended to cut into the teeth but your density will adjust the pressure of the device appropriately to each patient.

Will it be painful?
Almost all patients find it is a pain free treatment. Some people may feel a tickling vibrations but neither the scraping nor the cooling will cause discomfort. These tingly sensations are extremely brief and most patients actually say that they enjoy the cleaning because of the smooth feeling of their teeth afterwards!

If you would like to find out more about this treatment and the stages involved. Look on Re-Enhance Dental Clinic's website, or contact them today.

Teeth Whitening - Re-Enhance Dental Clinic

We all aspire to have beautifully natural white teeth so we can have the perfect, clean looking smile. Re-Enhance Dental Clinic in Cheshire offer several teeth whitening options to suit your time and situation. Teeth will naturally discolour due to our diets and Re-Enhance can help you get the whiteness back that you desire. They offer home teeth whitening kits and laser teeth whitening at their clinic.

You will begin by having a consultation at Re-Enhance's clinic. A mould of your teeth will be taken to ensure your bleaching tray fits perfectly in your mouth to give you the best results. The bleaching process only takes a few minutes and the results are truly transformative. Your consultant will tell you which bleach will be best suited to you and your needs.

Re-Enhance believe that while home whitening kits are convenient, laser teeth whitening is by far the better treatment. This will be carried out at their surgery in Hale. It is a quick and simple procedure. The treatment involves the use of a machine which emits a wavelength of light. This activates a white paste that will have been applied to the teeth prior.

All the treatments are safe and leave no damage to the teeth. While teeth will whiten, fillings, crowns and other treatments to teeth won't whiten but will return to their natural, original colour. There is virtually no pain during these treatments. However for a couple of days after you may be sensitive to hot and cold temperatures, but this will soon pass.

Home kit last ability is for as long as you continue with the treatment. With the alternative professional teeth whitening option, top ups are carried out every 6-12 months and only take ten minutes.

Looking After Your Child's Teeth This Halloween | Re-Enhance Dental

Although we may allow ourselves to indulge too, the people who's teeth suffer the most at this time of year are definitely our children. It is important that along side having fun, you make sure that your children are looking after their teeth, especially those who have their adult teeth.

There is no better time than the autumn period to get yourself and your children booked in for a check up. During this time, with Halloween, Bomb Fire night and Christmas just around the corner, the sugar intake of you and your family members is at an all time high, and all of these sugary acids are very damaging to your teeth and gums.

We can offer family packages on our Denplan to give you great value, high quality dental care, from just £8.95 a month. This entitles you to 2 dental check ups a year, 2 hygiene checks ups per year, free xrays, any dental advice you need and a 20% discount on all dental treatments.

An added bonus to the Denplan service is world wide dental insurance, meaning that you are completely covered for any dental treatments and accidents. You and any family members can get involved in the Denplan service by simply getting in touch today.

Dental tips for you to keep in mind....

A key to a happy and healthy life doesn't just include keeping your body healthy, but maintaining clean teeth too. Many people neglect to brush their teeth at least twice a day, this may be because tooth degradation is a gradual process that is not immediately noticeable - but if you could see the effects of not brushing in the future then many people wouldn't be taking the chance! Cosmetic dentistry is revolutionising tooth care, since it has the ability to transform peoples smiles, clinics such as Re-Enhance Dental also provide routine hygienist scale and polish techniques that will keep you healthy all year round. Everything from dentures to teeth straightening and whitening ensures that there is something for everyone.

We've listed a few ways how you can help to maintain a hygienic smile:
  • Change your toothbrush every three months
  • Using fluoride toothpaste helps to strengthen the enamel
  • If you play sports such as Rugby, ensure that you wear a mouthguard in order to protect your teeth
  • Try to floss and use mouthwash as well as brushing. This helps to remove any leftover bacteria that brushing fails to remove
  • Try brushing your tongue, by just brushing it a few times with your brush you can help to remove even more bacteria and give you fresh breath
  • Make and appointment with the Dentist every six month to ensure that you're getting specialist care that you need.
If you follow these simple tips, your teeth will remain white and beautiful for your whole life. Re-Enhance Dental and their friendly, professional team can take care of your dental requirements; they're based in Hale, Cheshire.

Brush Before Bed - Take Care of Your Teeth | Re-Enhance Dental

We are all guilty of forgetting to brush our teeth before bed now and again, or even brushing and then having a snack. Either way doing this can be really bad for your teeth and gums. Brushing before bed is said by many dentists to be just as and, in some cases, more important than brushing when you wake up.

The time that you are asleep is the time when oral bacteria thrives the most. It goes completely undisturbed for hours. As soon as you finish brushing your teeth at any time of day, a small amount of bacteria remains in the mouth and immediately begins regrowth.

Not only that but brushing twice a day considerably reduces 'morning breath' and bad breath over all. Look at it this way, if you didn't put leftovers in the fridge and left them out in the kitchen over night, they are going to smell considerably worse. However your mouth has far more active bacteria than your kitchen (I should hope!)

One of the biggest factors that should encourage you to brush at least twice a day is money. Yes, you will be spending twice as much on tooth paste, but that's nothing in comparison to how much you'll save on your dental bills. Expect far less trips to your dentist if you're taking better care of your teeth. Not brushing at night is a cavity waiting to happen.
