What added value do Self Employed Solutions offer compared to other accountants?

They are available all year round by phone or email.
They act as your tax agent.
You receive £100,000 of business legal cover which covers you for: 

  • For you to be subject to an aspect of full enquiry arising from Self-Assessment by HM Revenue and Customs
  • Disputes with an employee that cannot be resolved internally
  •  Face a criminal prosecution, receive a statutory enforcement notice or experience problems under the Data Protection Act
  • Suffer damage to the business property or nuisance (it is not however property insurance)
  • Contractual disputes with suppliers or business customers
  • Having your licence to undertake normal business activities cancelled, suspended or altered
  • Require business related telephone legal advice, an employment manual of on-line business support system
What does acting as my tax agent mean?

Self Employed Solutions act as your representative and submit all documents, files and information to H M Revenue and Customs on your behalf. It also means if they contact you about your tax then Self Employed Solutions will deal with them and represent you. 

Can I claim tax relief on Self Employed Solutions services?

Yes you will be eligible for tax relief, they also do this for you. 

How much does it cost to join?

Self Employed Solutions offer their services at a very low cost. The inital joining fee is £24.98 and then you are charged on a monthly basis for their services which is only £24.98 per month.

How are my books managed each month?

There are two ways Self Employed Solutions can manage your books, these are:

Through their accountancy app where you capture images of your outgoing and incoming receipts and invoices then send them to Self Employed Solutions.
Use their pre-paid envelopes and send your receipts and invoices to them. 
( Applicable to Gold customers only, Platinum customers options will be discussed case by case)

What security measures do they take to protect my information?

Self Employed Solutions take a number of security measures to ensure your information is kept safe to the highest of standards. These measures include:

They use the Globalsign security to make sure your information and account details are protected.
They also use Trust Guard Security, Business and Privacy Seals to increase safety.
Receipt processing is carried out in purpose built premises which is equipped with 24/7 CCTV, remotely monitored fire and intruder alarms and uniform security.
