Delivering Presentations with Confidence
Whether its a presentation, interview, meeting, networking event or
social meeting, this course will teach you how to create a brilliant
presentation, using a range of tools and techniques, and give you the
ability to deliver that presentation with complete confidence.
The course will be held in Leeds on Tuesday 30th September 2014, it will
take 1 day to complete.
This is a one to one tuition type course which means the participants
will receive specific assistance on areas they need support in.
Firstly, the importance of presenting effectively will be discussed.
Then the course will move to planning and preparing presentations. This
includes learning key skills such as how to structure a presentation,
addressing your nerves, fear and anxieties and also how to anticipate a
difficult situation. Then the final task will be to deliver a mock
presentation to the other 5 participants, which will be a supportive and
relaxed environment. This will involve learning and practicing how to
maximise your use of words, how to use your tone of voice, managing your
audience attention and participation, using visual aids within your
presentation and how to handle difficult questions.
Successful participants receive a completion pack, certificate, contact
phone number and email address which enables them to receive a follow up
consultation with the trainer when they get back into their workplace.

The course fees include lunch and refreshments throughout the day and a
delegate pack which includes course workbooks, copies of presentation
slides and a certificate of attendance.
