The Marina of Benalmadena Costa Del Sol is an excursion by itself. With its stunning port filled with yachts and boats of which are surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. At night you will find the marina lit up by the lights of the shops and the reflection bounces of the water giving a truly spectacular scene.

On the beach of Benalmadena you can sun bathe in peace and quite and take a dip in the sea. For those who require a bit more excitement there is the bananna boat and other water rides. You can hire a pedalo or go para-gliding, the choice is yours.

For the party people you have the bars of the marina which at night come to life with music and entertainment. There is also the very popular 24 hour square with nightclubs including the popular Linekers Bar.

Torremolinos Water Park (Aqua Park) is one of the largest in Europe. Its a great day out and caters for everybody there's big rides for the adults, a pirate pool and water rides for the little ones, wave pool and more.

Tivoli World Theme Park again is great fun for all ages. There's big rides and little ones, entertainment and shows, restaurants and shops.

Fantastic markets where you can buy spices, clothes, accessories, food, toys and gifts.

For those who love wildlife why not try the Fuengirola Zoo and meet a variety of animals and species.

There is Sealife which is located in the Marina, you and your family will be able to see some of the most fascinating mammals and fish that swim the oceans. Dolphins, Whales, Sharks, Sting Rays, Jelly Fish and more.

Benalmadena is such a fantastic place to go on holiday, i can say that because i spent every year there as a child. Me, my mum, dad and sister would go and stay right outside the Marina in a lovely block of apartments. We went every single year until i got to 18 and decided it wasn't that cool to go away with my parents anymore.
Its somewhere i can relate to on so many levels. The place has gave me and my family so many happy memories.
In the daytime we would go to the beach or chill by the pool and at the night we would eat in the fabulous, exquisite restaurants in the Marina, which may i add looks magnificent at night. Once we had eaten we would walk round the Marina stopping at the arcades and ice cream parlors and then into the bars. There not your typical British bars you'd expect in a tourist resort. These bars are state of the art, one of which belongs to Antonio Bandaras.
As well as swimming, chilling, sunbathing and eating there's so many trips to go on. We would most certainly visit the waterpark in Torremolinos and Tivoli World theme park. Then there's the markets which sell all kinds of special things like spices from around the world, clothes from India and toys from Europe.
If your more of a historical and sight seeing person you wont go disappointed.
There's the fortress in Antequera, the city of Malaga or the town of Mijas.

Its a place for everyone that offers something different to cater for everyone's tastes and needs. Its such a beautiful and happy place to go. Whether your on your own, a couple or a family its perfect.
