1 Day Woodland Adventure from Cheshire Bushcraft

This Easter the Cheshire Bushcraft offer a 1 Day Woodland Adventure in their Cheshire woodland forest. 

This fun little adventure is packed with exciting activities and educational facts for everyone. You will learn new skills and bushcraft techniques which include building and lighting your own fire, identify edible plants, forage for woodland food, learn how to purify water, identify traces of animals and birds, develop navigation skills and learn how to use knifes and bushcraft tools safely and and correctly.

This course is specifically designed to introduce you to the world of bushcraft and to develop your knowledge and skills. No experience is necessary however a certain level of fitness is required and you must be over the age of 8. 

Tea, coffee, juice and water will be provide and a selection of fruit. If you have any specific dietary requirements please dont hestiate to tell us. 


This Course will include: 

• Introduction to the tools and equipment of Bushcraft, including the safe handling of Axes, Knives, and Saws.
• The survival mind, learning how to think like a survivor.
• Fire lighting using Friction and other methods.
• Foraging and preparing foods.
• Wilderness cooking.
• Traps and Tracking.
• Signalling and Navigation

Woodland Wildlife Walk

Looking for a fun adventures day out?

Try the Woodland Wildlife Walk from Cheshire Bushcraft.

This curious little adventure will take you through the woods to discover the wildlife that inhabits there. You will be looking for all kinds of beautiful birds, creepy crawleys, owls, bats and mammals that roam the woods. 

Their highly experienced Bushcraft guide will give you as much knowledge as possible to help you understand the different types of species that live in the woods.

The minium age required is 4.

This adventure is great for children as it educates them on animals and different types of wildlife. 

The session will last for 2 hours and the maximum group size is 8.

Cheshire Buhcraft hosts a range of activities, events and courses you can choose from. They also have their very own falconry where you can hold and fly their stunning birds of prey.
