Initially, Telfer will scribe the radiator cupboards to skirting boards then apply three coats of paint. One prime coat which is then rubbed down, and one undercoat is applied and also rubbed down. Then one or two top coats will be applied to finish the cabinet off so it will be up to very high standards and beautifully finished.
The front of the cabinet itself is manufactured in one piece for strength, the seems are on the sides of the cabinet so the front view remains perfect. The radiator cabinet fixings are internal so they are not on view from outside. The internal front stiffeners are screwed to the inside front panel. The top of the cabinets also have a 2x box section steel internal stiffener to prevent possible distortion and trapping the aluminium heat reflection shield (reflow flow system). The front of the radiator cabinet lifts away making it accessible for easy cleaning, gives access to the floor and the valves (for adjusting) and access for possible repairs to floor or bleeding of the radiator. However, special designs of cabinets can be created at your request and additions can be added at no extra cost.
